August Birthstones: Peridot & Spinel
August is one of the few months with multiple birthstones, giving everyone plenty of beautiful options!
Peridot – The Gem of Sunshine
Known for its vibrant lime-green color, peridot has been treasured for thousands of years and is one of the few gemstones that occurs in only one color. According to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the intensity of its green depends on the amount of iron present in the crystal. Most peridot forms deep within the Earth's mantle and is brought to the surface through volcanic activity, making it a truly remarkable gift from nature.

Spinel – Beauty with Brilliance
Spinel is one of the jewelry world's best-kept secrets.
